Certified 100% organic cotton tampons. Made with a rolled wadding of soft, long-fibre organic cotton. Available in Regular, Super and Super Plus absorbencies for any stage of your period.

100% Organic Cotton - No vagina should be exposed to pesticide and dioxin residues on their period! Only certified organic cotton guarantees no residues. Plus it’s kinder for wildlife and for soils.

Chlorine Free - Tampons are made from bleached materials to make them safe and hygienic to use. We use the most environmentally friendly Totally Chlorine Free bleaching method to clean and purify our organic cotton.

No Plastic, Rayon or Dyes - No need to puzzle over our ingredient lists! We believe in full transparency and no undisclosed ingredients or synthetic bits in tampons.

No Fibre Loss - Tampons made with rayon can be more prone to fibre loss, meaning small, short rayon fibres can shed into the vagina. Natracare uses long fibre organic cotton.

Recyclable and Compostable - Our packaging is made from recycled cardboard, and tampons are individually wrapped in recyclable plastic.

Know exactly what you put in your body. GOTS Organic licence number X303 certified by The Soil Association.

FAQs

How often should you change tampon?

It’s important to change your tampons regularly, every 4-6 hours, and alternate between using tampons and pads. It's not recommended that you wear a tampon when sleeping because it's easier to leave a tampon in for too long.

Natracare tampon packs come with an instruction leaflet on how to use tampons safely to avoid risks associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS).

How to use Natracare non-applicator tampons?

Wash your hands before and after inserting a tampon and only use one tampon at a time.

Unwrap the tampon by tearing the coloured strip and pull the wrapper from both ends of the tampon. Do a quick safety tug on the tampon string to make sure it’s securely attached to the tampon.

Now, hold your index finger to the base of the tampon, flaring the cotton a little. With your other hand, you can open the folds of skin around the vagina to make pushing the tampon easier if helpful.

Then push the tampon upwards and backward towards the small of the back. If you can still feel the tampon, it needs to be pushed further inside.

The tampon string should remain outside the vagina, easily accessible and ready for removal.

How should I dispose of Natracare tampons and packaging?

Our tampons are 100% cotton, meaning they are compostable. If you don’t have a compost bin, tampons should be disposed of with your regular waste. Please don’t flush your tampons.

Applicator tampons: The packaging is made from recycled cardboard, the tampon wrapper is paper and the applicator is cardboard.

Non-applicator tampons: The packaging is made from recycled cardboard, the tampon wrapper is a recyclable BPA free plastic. Check with your local authority about which types of plastic they can recycle.
