The Dry & Light incontinence pads have a compressed cellulose core to effectively absorb light bladder leaks without harsh chemicals or plastic. The pads come without wings and stay firmly in place with a non-toxic glue strip.

We're recommended by health professionals and are suitable for sensitive skin or those with allergies. Natracare helps reduce exposure to synthetic materials and ingredients, including plastic, perfume and dyes that're often found in continence care products.

FAQs

Why use wood pulp inside of the pads?

We never use chemically processed pulp (such as rayon aka viscose) or synthetic materials in our pads. Instead, we use fluffed wood pulp in the absorbent core of our pads. Our pulp is sustainably sourced from fast growing, Scandinavian pine trees — which is very absorbent! We mechanically process the wood to make it soft and fluffy — this fibre structure is more absorbent than using cotton alone. Cellulose pulp is natural and renewable, and a more sustainable alternative than superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) found in many conventional pads.

The pad cover is made from certified organic cotton, which sits next to the skin, acting as a soft cover to wick away leaks.

How often do incontinence pads need to be changed?

Incontinence pads need to be changed after any significant leaks or every 4-6 hours as needed. It depends on you and your needs, but incontinence pads shouldn't be worn for longer than 6 hours at a time.

How much urine do Natracare incontinence pads hold?

Natracare Dry & Light incontinence pads are designed for light bladder weakness.

  • Slim pads can hold up to 109 ml (3.7 ounces).
  • Plus pads can hold up to 176 ml (6 ounces).

For reference, a full bladder for an average adult contains 470 ml (16 ounces).

How to dispose of Natracare Dry & Light pads and packaging?

It's possible to compost Natracare pads at home. If you don’t have a compost bin, you should dispose of Natracare pads with your regular waste.

The Slim pad wrapper is made from paper and is recyclable or compostable. The Plus pad wrapper is made from bioplastic and is commercially compostable. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard and is recyclable.
